Cassandra Ciangherotti protagoniza“Los Espookys” para HBO

La comedia es escrita por el prosélito de Saturday Night Live, Fred Armisen y producida por Lorne Michaels.

HBO anunció su nueva serie “Los Espookys” o “Mexico City: Only good things happen” la cual será protagonizada por la mexicana Cassandra Ciangherotti. La historia se desarrolla en una versión extraña y soñadora de la actual Ciudad de México y sigue a un grupo de amigos que convierten su amor por el terror en un negocio peculiar. La serie es escrita por Fred Armisen, quién  también aparecerá en el papel de Tico.

Bernardo Velasco interpretará a Renaldo, el líder de Los Espookys, Cassandra Ciangherotti interpretará a Ursula, una asistente dental que provee dientes para los monstruos del negocio. Ana Fabrega interpreta a Tati, la hermana de Ursula y la maniquí de prueba de Los Espookys, Julio Torres interpretará a Andrés, el mejor amigo de Renaldo quién es oscuro y misterioso. Y como se mencionó anteriormente, Armisen interpretará a Tico, el tío confiable de Renaldo.

El creador de «Saturday Night Live», Lorne Michaels, también será productor ejecutivo a través de su productora Broadway Video junto con Andrew Singer. Alice Mathias será coproductora ejecutiva y Fernando Frias director del piloto mientras que Broadway Video producirá en asociación con Antigravico y Más Mejor.

El proyecto se filmará a finales de este año en Chile.
