TEMPORAL… El lugar para todas las temporadas

Ubicado en una de las esquinas más icónicas de la colonia Condesa, en la calle de Saltillo y Avenida Nuevo León, TEMPORAL, es un lugar en donde cada una de las épocas del año otorgan lo mejor, para integrar platillos perfectos en cuanto a tiempo, calidad y sabor.

TEMPORAL, no es un lugar más. Es el espacio preciso para establecer una extraña relación durante las cuatro estaciones en donde la culminación de los productos de temporada establece momentos íntimos y personales en una degustación que trascienda más allá de los sentidos para convertirse en instantes orgásmicos.

Bajo la atención personal de su chef propietario, Diego Perez Turner, hijo del no menos celebre Tomás Pérez Turrent, personaje queridísimo en el medio cinematográfico y taurino y de la señora Guillian Turner, ella de origen ingles; curiosamente se logró en Diego, el sincretismo de dos culturas, dando un tamiz muy personal en cada uno de los platillos, que sumado a un tiempo de cosecha perfecto, logra dar un sentido sensorial a cada una de sus creaciones.

El restaurante, de ninguna manera es un lugar snob, aunque lo podría ser sin ninguna pena, es un lugar que a través de los años se ha integrado al barrio, al tradicional y cosmopolita barrio de la Condesa y que desde el año del 2013 es ya parte del lugar, como lo es todo el entorno que rodea a este agradable lugar.

El esfuerzo no ha sido poco, el terremoto de septiembre del 2017, dejó fuertes secuelas en esta parte de la ciudad, sin embargo, el reconocimiento, no sólo a la magnifica calidad de su servicio y alimento, sino también a la calidez de su propietario al solidarizarse con los trabajos, primero de salvamento y luego de reconstrucción, le otorgaron un respetable y cariñoso reconocimiento en la comunidad, que le permitió superar los difíciles meses que siguieron al movimiento telúrico.

Sobre el menú, podemos decir que mantiene lo mejor de la cocina inglesa, (la buena, desde luego), con la picardía, sabor y propia entonación que tiene la comida mexicana – española, al preparar, el pescado y el cordero en un punto, que a través de las legumbres, granos y aceites, hace que cada bocado sea una explosión de sentimientos en una conjugación que es difícil de describir, pero inolvidable al disfrutar.

Y desde luego, no podemos olvidar el sentido ingles del Chef Diego al invitar a los domingos de Roast

Religiosamente cada cambio estacional, la carta de alimentos se modifica, para traer hasta la mesa de TEMPORAL, lo mejor de cada temporada, lo que permite tener una carta siempre fresca, dicho esto en el término más amplio. Auque también hay que decirlo, hay platos que por su propio éxito se han convertido en clásicos y que se pueden disfrutar todo el año.

Hoy TEMPORAL, es dentro de la oferta gastronómica de la Ciudad de México, uno de los mejores lugares de la colonia Condesa, y al decir de la Condesa, hablamos de lo mejor de la ciudad de México.
