Nos dejó dicho Leduc: “Sabia virtud de conocer el tiempo”. Viene la cita a cuenta del tiempo que este lunes festeja por todo lo alto y a todo trapo el gobierno de la 4T, el mismo que marcó el adiós –según su narrativa- al neoliberalismo, la corrupción, el entreguismo. Es el nuevo tiempo, el advenimiento de la anunciada transformación profunda de México, impulsada por López Obrador, el político con la “legítima aspiración” de ser recordado con el tiempo y por la historia –el tiempo largo- como un “buen presidente”.

Tiempo, el único bien terrenal de los hombres, es lo que vienen pidiendo quienes son hoy gobierno. Tiempo es lo que también está pidiendo el presidente, tiempo es lo que argumentan sus seguidores, para que con el tiempo –limitado claro a seis años- nazca, aflore el nuevo México, el México anunciado, prometido, como fue en el caso de los antiguos mexicanos en prolongada peregrinación desde el Aztlán mítico hasta el sitio donde apareciera el águila y la serpiente.

Siete meses es un periodo corto, menor incluso al alumbramiento de un nuevo ser humano, tiempo ínfimo pues. Hay excepciones, claro, hay nacimientos, parimientos, alumbramientos incluso de seis y medio meses, siete u ochomesinos. Pero sólo son eso, casos excepcionales. Así que no sería válido del todo pedir la excepción a López Obrador, a menos claro que se corra el riesgo de un no-nacido. Así que hay que dar tiempo al tiempo porque “de amor y dolor alivia al tiempo”.

Lo bien hecho lleva tiempo, se aduce con frecuencia. Después de todo “rápido y bien no ha habido quien”, apuntan los viejos y venerados abuelos. Tome su tiempo para que lo haga bien, sugieren muchos.

Sólo son siete meses, insisten los chairos o aun quienes difieren de esa etiqueta, pero militan con el pensamiento y el corazón en las filas lopezobradoristas. Sus críticos, fifís o no, opinan, argumentan en contra al señalar –¿podría ser un argumento?- que López Obrador acumula un millaje político extraordinariamente prolongado, incluyendo 18 largos años en campaña, con más de un recorrido de ida y vuelta por la geografía mexicana y aún el ascenso al poder anticipado tras el triunfo hoy hace justo un año ante la entrega de la estafeta peñista de manera tan tersa cuanto sospechosa.

Podría citarse de nuevo a Leduc: “Aquel amor a quien amé a destiempo martirizóme tanto y tanto tiempo que no sentí jamás correr el tiempo, tan acremente como en ese tiempo”.

Después de todo, “Amar queriendo como en otro tiempo -ignoraba yo aún que el tiempo es oro-

cuánto tiempo perdí -ay- cuánto tiempo”, una estrofa que ojalá no sea encarnación real más delante.

Habrá entonces que seguir esperando con la idea fija en el 2024 cuando otra vez tengamos que recordar a Leduc: “Y hoy que de amores ya no tengo tiempo, amor de aquellos tiempos, cómo añoro la dicha inicua de perder el tiempo…
