Recién la víspera, un grupo de presuntos estudiantes chiapanecos la emprendió a palos contra un grupo de militares fuera del mismito Palacio Nacional. Los militares volvieron a aguantar vara, conforme la instrucción del presidente López Obrador, comandante el jefe de las fuerzas armadas nacionales por mandato constitucional.
Los presuntos estudiantes dieron de palos a los militares por la espalda. Los oficiales soportaron la agresión y no respondieron como tiende a hacerse una costumbre. Mejor se fueron con tres miembros heridos. El incidente fue porque los normalistas pretendían establecer un campamento justo allí, fuera del Palacio Nacional. Vergonzoso e indignante que los militares se sometan a una agresión.
Otro episodio similar se registró hace unos días en Michoacán, donde el coronel, Víctor Manuel Maldonado Celis, fue ultimado en Ziracuaretiro y un grupo de castrenses fue atacado en el municipio de Los Reyes.
Un video mostró a pobladores de Los Reyes cuando arremeten a palos en contra de soldados en trabajo de reconocimiento de la zona.
En la carretera Zamora-Los Reyes el grupo de al menos siete elementos castrenses fue rodeado por hombres que los increpan y empujan.
En mayo, sobrevino otro incidente parecido en La Huacana, Michoacán.
Un grupo denominado de autodefensas sometió y humilló a soldados para exigir la devolución de armas decomisadas, entre ellas un fusil Barrett, capaz de perforar blindados.
En junio, civiles atacaron con piedras a militares que combatían el huachicol en Texmelucan, Puebla.
Ah, pero donde si hubo diferencia y reacción fue cuando el presidente López Obrador, quien mantiene a los militares la instrucción de que mantengan los brazos bajos incluso cuando se les agrede, exigió a un grupo de ciudadanos inconformes de Ciudad Valles, San Luis Potosí, que lo dejaran descansar.
“La única cosa que quiero es que por favor se retire porque no merezco este trato donde voy a descansar”, reclamó el jefe del Ejecutivo.
Muy molesto, argumentó que el incidente resultaba “indebido completamente”, más aún porque –argumentó- “democracia es orden, es orden democrático y todos merecemos respeto, aunque se tengan necesidades, aunque tenga necesidades siempre hay que respetar”. Claro, respetar, pero no a los militares que resguardan con riesgo de sus vidas al país.
Preocupante que se ataque y provoque impunemente a los militares, guardianes fieles y últimos garantes del país.
También preocupa que como seres humanos que son, un día uno solo de ellos pierda el control de cara a una eventual agresión. O más aún para poner un punto y aparte a la impunidad que se está prohijando desde la cúpula del poder presidencial. Ojalá no resulte así. Imagine las consecuencias. Pero se juega con fuego y es útil advertirlo, aún es tiempo.
