En su cuenta de Twitter la autora británica Alice Oseman anunció que se encuentra muy contenta de compartir con sus seguidores que Heartstopper se encuentra en proceso adaptación para una serie que estrenará con la plataforma de streaming Netflix. Reveló que la serie será escrita por ella misma y estará dirigida por Euros Lyn, reconocido por dirigir episodios de Doctor Who y Black Mirror.
